What the community is saying about North Hi Mount.

I absolutely love NHM for so many reasons, but the true highlight for our family is the dual language program. My boys are flourishing in this environment, and their growing Spanish skills and confidence in speaking the language amaze me every day.
As someone who minored in Spanish, I didn’t gain the same level of confidence they have until much later! They've also formed meaningful friendships with children from other countries, giving us the chance to learn about different cultures and ways of life.
We deeply appreciate that our children are surrounded by a diverse group of peers, each with their own unique backgrounds. It’s an enriching, worldly education that we wouldn’t trade for anything!

I’m grateful to the care and consideration that NHM has given my daughter in providing an education to my daughter.
Moving to Fort Worth from a small town, I was concerned that when my daughter started school she would not receive the same level of attention that she’d get in a smaller classroom. But NHM has blown all my expectations away on what an elementary school can be for a child starting school.
I have seen NHM bring out and celebrate the best parts of my daughter while also focusing on providing extra attention where she needs help. They are also in constant communication with me should anything of concern regarding her needs to be addressed. I could not imagine my daughter in another other school private or otherwise.

We are a proud transfer family at NHM.
We are also in the “Dual Language Bubble” and have been so fortunate to be able to attend NHM. My kids have had the same classmates since kindergarten with the exception of a few new kids sprinkled in. This is a big deal! Small class sizes, low staff turnover in the Dual Language program, and having the same classmates year after year has made our time at NHM special!
The PTA works tirelessly, parent involvement, and all of the wonderful after school activities that allow for community is what makes NHM a special place for students from all walks of life. 💙💛

I hold a deep & personal connection to this place & to the people I've met throughout my years here. North Hi Mount is more than just a building; it’s a special, safe, & welcoming place for all who walk through its doors.
My journey with this charming school began 13 years ago when my youngest sister started first grade. I still remember thinking, "One day, my future children will walk through these halls."
I’ve experienced NHM from three unique perspectives: as an older sister, a former employee, & now as a proud mother. To know North Hi Mount is to love North Hi Mount💛💙

One the biggest reasons why I love North Hi Mount is because of the memories I once shared with my friends, teachers and family. Miss Perry and Mrs. Daniel’s were once my 3rd and 5th grade teachers, and they are still apart of the NHM staff. Which my daughter got to experience her first year of school with Miss Perry. What an honor!
Can I also brag about the little bird feeder that I made in art class that the school has had on display for years ? I can go on about the childhood I got to experience but I’m more excited for my kids to live through the NHM legacy!

I love North Hi Mount for so many reasons, but what stands out most is the warmth and sense of community that makes this school feel like home. When our family first entered Fort Worth ISD in 2018, we had a challenging experience with our oldest daughter that led us to explore other school options. Years later, in 2022, when our son needed speech therapy, we unexpectedly found North Hi Mount—and looking back, it feels like fate.
From day one, this school has been a place where he has been loved on and cared for. I 💙 how the teachers know each student by name, and the parents genuinely care for one another’s kids as if they were their own. It’s a close-knit environment where no child is just a number, and every student receives the attention they need to thrive.
Our son started school hardly speaking, and thanks to the support and dedication of this community, he has made incredible strides in his confidence and speech. I attribute this to the smaller student population at NHM which has allowed for him to receive dedicated speech services and not get lost in a big sea of kids.
North Hi Mount is more than just a school—it’s a place built on heart and kindness. 💙💛I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community!

Having my two of my children attend the elementary school I attended is pretty awesome. I was a student at North Hi Mount all the way till 5th grade.
I remember the music and dance programs that were held in the auditorium. The field days held outside & running up the stairs to my parents to show them my ribbons. (My children) have the same memories at NHM. Not only memories, but educational achievements for both. I credit this to the small classroom sizes and the support we have received from the teachers. One on one help means so much.
The dedication from the staff so my child can succeed. Not only my child, but every student there. There is a feeling of comfort you get when you are at North Hi Mount. This is thanks to the staff as well as the parents. I am not as involved as I would like to be, but the parents that are & the ones organizing this have been amazing. Thank you for the work you have been putting in for everyone here!

Our North Hi Mount community is like a family. We have worked so hard to build the school 🏫 up over 10 years. All 3 of my children went to NHM!
The academics are above the district averages, but more importantly the Teachers and Staff provide a welcoming and nurturing space to our children daily!
We love the history and beauty of our whole campus! Amazing clubs and safe places to play and meet up in the heart of NHM!
